Important Information
- AMC Golf Carts has a minimum age of 25 for any person to drive
- All drivers must provide a valid ID and Valid NC insurance card
- Also must sign liability waiver to have access to rental vehicle
- Operation videos will be provided at booking and must be watched to ensure safety

Responsibility, Liability and Damages
Please understand, it is NOT the responsibility of AMC Golf Carts to ensure that the Renter's auto insurance covers the rental use of a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV).
Renter is responsible for ALL liability and damages that may result while operating an AMC Golf Carts street legal golf cart, also known as a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV), as defined under the New Jersey Statute Title 39:4-31.1 et seq. The valid and collectible Liability Insurance and PIP of any authorized rental driver is primary for the limits of liability and personal injury protection coverage required by N.J.S.A. 39:6A-1 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 17:28-1.1, New Jersey Statutes.

Requirements
- Must be at least 25 years of age to rent or drive
- Have a valid U.S. driver's license
- Proof of current, full coverage automobile insurance
- Major U.S. Credit Card for payment
Safety First
No child under the age of 8 or height of 4'9" is allowed to ride in an AMC Pedal
Note: Car Seats are not permitted
Per New Jersey law statutes, children must be able to sit upright with the use of the seatbelt before being permitted to ride on any "street legal" cart.
Storage Responsibility
Cart should be safely stored and secured. Renter is responsible for missing or damaged carts. Cart must be returned in the same condition as when the rental was initiated. Any excessive mud, sand, or other damaging debris observed on the cart and cart undercarriage upon final inspection may result in an additional minimum fee of $150 for misuse and replacement of damaged parts.
Rules of the Road
Cart is for road use only. AMC Golf Carts rentals are not permitted on sidewalks or beaches. Please do not place and/or strap down any personal items on the cart roof (i.e. surf boards and chairs). Rear seat of cart folds down into a utility shelf for your convenience. Any damage to the roof will result in additional charges.
Breakdowns
Just like a new car, a breakdown can happen. Unfortunately, there is never a convenient time for it to happen. Especially when you are on vacation. In the event of a breakdown, if it is in normal business hours, please contact us immediately. If it is after hours, please still contact us. It may not be until the next business day we respond, but it will be our first priority that morning and will make it right.
Tickets / Towing
Just like a rental car, if you park illegally or get a ticket, it is your fault and responsibility to pay all fees. The renter is responsible for all parking violations, traffic citations, and towing charges incurred during the rental period.
Resort Parking
It is your responsibility to ensure you can have a golf cart where you are staying. Most resorts are happy to have golf carts rather than full size vehicles. You may need to inform your resort of your golf cart as you would a rental vehicle and display a parking permit on the cart.
Corporate & Business Rentals
In addition to the driver's primary auto insurance coverage, Commercial General Liability insurance must be maintained and shall name AMC Golf Carts as an additional insured. A Certificate of Insurance and a copy of the additional-insured endorsement must be provided prior to the rental date.

Providing AMC Golf Carts with your insurance information DOES NOT guarantee insurance coverage. It is the Renter's sole responsibility to ensure liability coverage and property damage with the renter's auto insurance company PRIOR to signing the rental agreement.
